We’re looking for a kick-ass Group Account Director, someone to lead a group of client accounts and direct account management duties within a group. You’d be responsible for client development and growth, employee development, and cultural development. We’d look to you to uphold the quality and strategic leadership standards of the agency. - Leads clients strategically
- Is responsible for the development and adherence of the brand’s strategic platform
- Works with creative director to ensure the creative product’s adherence to the brand’s strategic platform
- Develops and maintains extraordinary relationships within the clients highest marketing level
- Fosters effective internal team relationships
- Mentors team and ensures staff development
- Oversees daily workflow
- Identifies and advises on potential client issues
- Understands and responds to client big-picture needs
- Responsible for each account’s financial health
- Responsible for each account’s organic growth
- Leads/participates in agency new business pitches as needed
- May be a member of the agency’s Senior Management Team
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for the Two by Four brand
- Minimum 7-9+ years industry experience
- Excellent presentation, client service and leadership skills
- Proven ability to think strategically, and the ability to teach others to think strategically
- Department management experience
- Proven track record of excellent job performance
Accountability
- This person will be accountable for leading and growing client businesses, maintaining strong client relationships, and teaching and cultivating the members of their account team.
- Reports to: SVP, Director off Client leadership
- THIS IS A PREDOMINATELY “WORK FROM THE OFFICE” JOB. While we currently offer “Work from Home Wednesdays”, this job requires that you work in our Chicago office Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
