Look, we're in the business of helping brands change what they're all about. So, for us, the whole idea of an “about” page kinda goes against what we stand for. Why? Well, for one thing, most brands find themselves in a tumultuous environment that is changing rapidly. Their customers are better informed, better connected, and more decisive than ever before. So what we push our clients to be “about” is a brand that is nimble and can define itself by being responsive and relevant. That means that they adapt and change and reshape themselves to meet the needs of their adaptive, changing, empowered customers. Being nimble is the key. So if we are about anything, we are all about being nimble. Two by Four is nothing if not nimble. And we seek brands that need to be nimble as well. Brands we can collaborate with to find new ways to tell the world what they are all about. And that, our future friend, is about it.
In the 1920s our Chicago office was formerly a two-story dance hall that Al Capone used to hang out in. So yeah, we’re a little bit gangsta’. But it was also a Jewish Social Club in the 50’s and a Private Bank in the 80’s. Which also fits nicely since we love a good party and making money for our clients. And the fact that one of Chicago’s best Italian restaurants is in the basement is a nice reflection of our mission statement.
